Being raised a Baptist and believing "once in grace always in grace" I am now wondering about that. Some say you can fall from grace, some say your "reward" will be lesser at the judgement and some say you were never truely saved if you feel you have fallen from grace. I need imput on this one.

Once saved always saved. God does not break his promises. He said that if we except his son Jesus as our saviour we would be saved. Falling from grace is another way of saying that we have backslided but any rewards that we have coming will still be our because we earned them and God said that he would reward us for our works. Every christian at some time or another have backsliden but they are still saved and God is there waiting for there return. I have backsliden many times but always come back to the Father and I know in my heart that I am saved and am going to go to heaven when I die. When a person has backsliden I believe that the Holy Spirit will work on you until you come back to God. You may hear a sermon on the radio or TV that may touch your heart and turn you back to God or someone may visit you from the church and may give you encourgement to return to God or a friend may encourage you. God has his way of getting into our lives.

Well I was reading today in Rev. 3:5 is why I asked. I have read a few passages simular to that and it made me wonder. I guess its the devil but then my friend says we can't blame the devil for everything because sometimes its our mind and not his.
