I see lots of various opinions about this. I believe they do. Some don't. If the lion and the lamb will lie together in the new world won't that mean God loves the animals also? If a pet is loyal to you and feels your pain when you are sick and comforts you and crys tears when it is sad is it not a living soul? The soul is the breath right so it breaths. I mean otherwise would it not be like a tree or a thing and not something living that feels and loves?

You know I agree with you I believe that animals will be with us in heaven. I have heard some say that animals have no soul and when they die they no longer exsist but I don't believe that. When I die I expect to see every animal that I ever had and loved.

Thanks Keeper. I have been reading up on this in the Bible and noted it says in Ecc. that man and beast both have the same breath and they both go to the dust. It also says "What man among you can say whether the beast goeth down and man goeth up?" I did find a lot of comfort in this as I miss my little dog.
