:] Well I am tired today for one and I have a headache. My treatments start next week and I do not even have a way there. The American Cancer Society was going to provide my transportation and now they say because of vacations and such they are not sure.
I have to go 33 times Momday-friday for over 6 weeks and I need rides to every treatment at the same time of day. Towards the end I may even need help down these steps. I have no idea what I am going to do now.
God best step in because I am at the end of ideas. I do know my sis will be here the last couple of weeks and I may be at my sons or daughters for a month or so after that when the fatigue sets in. I am hoping I will not need a feeding tube or much pain meds. I hate pain medication. it is so addictin you know?
Richard how are you getting the smilies to work? I click them and get nothing unless I add the code myself??

Ah Barb, you hang in there. I am praying for you. I think of you all the time and wonder how you are coping. Let us know if there are specifics we can pray about. Dottie

Right now just pray for me a ride/ rides. I am a member of the oral cancer foundation forum and a member wrote me on there this morning from Texas and asked for my phone number. She said she has everything taken care of about my rides and will call me about it. It has been so frustrationg. I ahve been either stressed or angry or crying. There seems to be no end to the emotional problems and I am appaled that there are no churches or organizations in this area who have people who volunteer for that kind of stuff. there must be 40 churches in my area. I am shocked. I would imagine some people just finally say forget it and sit down and wait to die. I cannot imagine the stress they have to go through to get a ride to a hospital and mine is only 15 minutes for here and I will be there 10 or 15 minutes. Shocking!

Well the American Cancer Society has my rides worked out so far. I have had the simulation and the mask made and three radiation treatments are out of the way with 30 to go. My throat is starting to get sore and I am tired much of the day and sleep a lot after I get home from the treatment. I have the weekend off so I am hoping to get some of my energy back. Hugs and love!
