Ok, I'm back. No one here yet? Have I been gone to long? Life for me since I've been here last. Mostly good, sometimes stressfull, always full of hope and God's grace. Dennis is recovering from his heart attack well. He is back to work full time. He is not taking care of himself like I think he should, but nagging doesn't do it. I am concluding my first summer as GM of the motel. They have asked me back next year and I agreed to come back. I will be working at another motel this winter at the front desk. That just happened today. Guess we have all the motels in town covered since ds #3 works at yet another motel here. DS#1 seems to be doing better. He is paying the consequences from some brain farts right now. He is attending NA every day also and waiting for a bed in an inpatient treatment center. There I finally said it out loud. DS#2 is seeing a new "girlfriend". She is a Christian and we are rejoicing in her and with Lucas. He is very happy. DS#3 has just recently went back to work at a motel. This is the first time he has been able to return to work since he broke his arms. There ya have it. My life in 200 words or less. I am thinking and praying about taking some online courses. We will see . Have a great day! Dottie

Good to see you back Dottie it looks like things are going good for you and the family. You know how us men are we are very stuborn and like to do things our way. My wife has been on me about losing weight and I know I need to but just can't seem to do it. I know she nags me because she loves me and cares. Things on this end are going fine wife just had a colonoscopy and her stomach checked and the colonoscopy was good and they found that she had a baterical infection of the stomach lining but that has been taking care of. I happen to mention to the doctor that my mom died of lung cancer that we think started in her stomach and now he wants me to have a colonoscopy and a scope put down my throat to check my stomach. I will be having that done next month. I don't like being put to sleep because my heart rate slows down when I sleep (heart beats in the 40's) Pray for me.

I will Richard. Dennis had one of those colonscopy things. YUCK and OUCH. I think it is probably important though. I had a change of plans in my winter job. I found out they want me to work full time there also until my motel closes. I am not a glutton for punishment. I don't want to work 80+ hours a week for a month and a half. They are trying to figure out how to fill the hours until I can come over to there.
