I have heard that the majority of churches now do not preach the Revelations because they are "to disturbing and most people don't want to hear about it." I heard this on a religious discussion on I believe TBN. Have you heard it?

No I haven't heard that but I do believe that for some reason people seem to avoid that book in the bible. I just canceled my cable TV and got Satellite dish TV and now I have TBN which I never had before and I love that channel. By the way Barb it is the book of Revelation not Revelations

You should never correct your elders didn't you know that kid? hahahaahahahahaha
So why do you think everyone wants to avoid that book? I mean then they would have to avoid a lot of the entire Bible right? I for one want to know. I once took a course in study of the book of Revelation and I found it really interesting.

Well, as for me it intimidates me. Not the things in it, but how it is written I guess. I have a study book on it sitting here and I can't seem to get it started. There are certain parts of it (Revelation) that I find incredibly beautiful and thought provoking. Do you think that is why it is not preached on a lot? Intimidation of it, of how it is written? We had a series at church on the seven churches and that was interesting. TB
